This is a great hotel! Our room was spacious and lovely, the bathroom huge and newly renovated. Everything is done to make the hotel eco- friendly. The concierge could not have been more helpful and the breakfasts were wonderful. We were there for 2 nights and we would stay there again in a heartbeat.
no fuss hotel that is located about 15 minutes away from gare du nord. quite a large room and bathroom too with no city noise. I recommend it.
wi-fi is not free
The room was quiet and the sheets were clean and rooms made daily, comfortable bed. Plenty of hot water in the shower and clean bathroom, nice to see no cracked tiles and mildew deposits!
We did not feel that at approx 100 euros a night the accomodation was value for money, the decor was much in need of an update and the carpets would benefit from a professional clean.
Rooms were clean and reasonably priced. Wifi is not included, but is also fairly reasonably price (EUR 4 per 24hrs). For Paris, especially in this price range, the rooms (at least the one I was in) was very large, and had a decently sized bathroom with a tub (though it lacked a shower curtain).
Furniture was quite outdated and was coloured 'Ninja turtle green'. They only have French TV channels. The Wifi was quite slow and unreliable most of the time, failing to connect to sites on many occasions. The elevator is the smallest I've ever seen, with room for one person and one suitcase, and has an awkward automatic + manual door system. Forget requesting a late checkout, they will ask you vacate at noon on the dot and keep calling and knocking until you do.
Staff were friendly, comfortable beds, strong shower, very clean and spacious double room. Good location - 10 min walk into Le Marais or to Gard Du Nord.
Comfortable room, easy walking distance to the Marais, good WiFi at reasonable cost (€4 x 24h)
Needs some renovation, phone didn't work in room
Conveniently located near Gare du Nord and amenities in the centre of Paris (e.g. Pompidou only a 10/15 mins walk). Room and bathroom were of fair dimensions and clean (bathroom recently renovated, with large and rather good shower, carpet in room perhaps a bit old). Furniture in our room even had character. Lift is a bit small, but we did manage to fit a buggy in it (though the accompanying adult had to squeeze). Overall, this is a satisfactory hotel, and given Paris prices, fairly economical and good value for money (if booked at discounted rates).
Very helpful informative staff who advised us of train line works which would affect our planned train trip to CDG airport. Locked baggage room was useful. Good sized room for a family, large bathroom. Did not try breakfast. Across the road from metro which was convenient as it rained all weekend. Hotel was good value for money.
Family room is spacious enough for central-city-hotel. WiFi for reasonable price (4e per day)
too small wardroab for 4 persons, only 1 chair
Friendly safe and good breakfast
The hotel's location close to so many tourist siteswas an added feature
There was no problem with the hotel except location. The location is absolutely a wrong choice for a single female traveller. I saw some prostitutes on streets at night near the hotel and then i learnt from a parisien that this area is a well-known prostitution area. i was harassed verbally many times at Strasbourg - Saint-Denis metro station. Even once i noticed a hand in my bag and i was very afraid, then the metro station officer came and rescued me. Never ever book a hotel in this area if you are a single female traveller. This area is full of immigrants who does still not get used to European life. Book a hotel in first or sixth area which are safe.
Room 108 was small, but clean and comfortable with a good bed and a spacious bathroom (bath/shower combination). We got (big) clean towels every day. They provided us with a firm babycot and blanket. We used the minibar to store babyfood.
Elevator was small (babybuggy did not fit inside), and the breakfast for €10,- pp, seemed a bit pricy to us.
The hotel was very close to my work and to the Metro. The room was clean and comfortable
The internet access was terrible. It was not worth the money I was charged for the service
It was easy to get around the city from this hotel, and there were restaurants, supermarkets and a chemist nearby. There was a fridge in the room amd the bathroom was modern and clean. Close to a metro station.
You needed to access the WIFI from the foyer.
